Alimentatore AC Dell RXK2P 90W con connettore cavo 4,5 mm

Dell RXK2P 90W AC adapter with a 4.5 mm barrel connector is a replacement or spare power supply designed for compatible Dell laptops. The adapter delivers up to 90 watts of power and provides stable charging and operation for systems that accept a 4.5 mm barrel plug. Its compact housing and integrated cable make it suitable for everyday use at home, in the office, or while traveling, helping maintain device uptime and support battery charging during regular workloads.

Advantages

The adapter supplies a consistent 90W output to support laptop charging and operation under moderate loads and typical multitasking scenarios. The commonly used 4.5 mm barrel connector ensures simple plug-and-play compatibility with supported models. Its compact design offers portability without adding unnecessary bulk to carry-on items. The adapter includes built-in protection features typical for OEM-style units, such as overload and short-circuit protection, to help safeguard both the adapter and the connected laptop.

Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or damaged original Dell AC adapter that uses a 4.5 mm barrel connector
• Using as a secondary adapter for travel or office locations
• Charging and running compatible Dell laptops while performing everyday tasks such as web browsing, office applications, and media playback

Key specifications

• Output power: 90 W
• Connector type: 4.5 mm barrel plug
• Input: standard AC mains voltage range suitable for international use (with appropriate plug adapter)
• Form factor: compact external AC adapter with attached DC cable
• Protection features: built-in overload and short-circuit protection (typical for OEM adapters)

How to use

Connect the AC adapter to an appropriate AC mains outlet using the included AC power cord or a compatible mains lead. Plug the 4.5 mm barrel connector firmly into the laptop's power jack until it seats securely. Verify that the laptop indicates charging, typically via an LED or on-screen battery icon. To disconnect, unplug first from the laptop and then from the mains outlet. Use the adapter on stable surfaces and avoid coiling the cable tightly while in use to prevent stress on the connector.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with laptops that explicitly accept a 4.5 mm barrel connector and require up to 90W of power. Avoid using the adapter with incompatible devices or attempting to force-fit the connector. For international travel, use an appropriate mains plug adapter or certified local power lead. If the adapter becomes unusually hot, emits noise, or shows visible damage, discontinue use and replace it to prevent potential hazards.
