Bahco 296 sega per musica 870 mm

Luthiers and fine woodworkers reach for the Bahco 296 Music Saw when cutting intricate curves in tonewoods, veneers, and delicate inlays. Its 870 mm frame supports a 700 mm blade of high-quality steel, ground to 10 TPI with a fine hardpoint tooth geometry. The lacquered beechwood handle provides a traditional, ergonomic grip for controlled push-and-pull strokes. This fixed-blade saw excels in musical instrument making, model building, and detailed joinery where precision matters more than speed.

Ideal use cases

• Cutting soundholes and bracing in acoustic instruments
• Shaping headstocks, bridges, and pickguards
• Fret slotting in fingerboards
• Detailed marquetry and intarsia
• Model making and prototype joinery

Good to know

The blade is fixed and not replaceable, so the saw is ready to use out of the box. Keep the blade clean and dry to preserve its edge; the polished finish resists corrosion in normal workshop conditions.
