Caffettiera Moka Alessi Moka 0,3 L grigio

The Moka pot Alessi Moka 0.3 L Grey is a compact stovetop coffee maker designed by architect David Chipperfield. Rendered in aluminum with a grey handle and knob, this 0.3 L moka pot revisits a classic Italian icon with subtle functional updates, including a flat lid designed to warm cups and preserve aroma and flavour. Its dimensions are 105 mm width and 180 mm height, with a total depth of 18 cm including the handle.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers quick heat conduction and durable performance while the flat lid provides a practical surface to pre-warm cups. The compact 0.3 L capacity is suitable for small households or single servings, and the redesigned ergonomic handle and knob improve handling and pouring stability.

Suitable for

• Preparing espresso-style coffee on a stovetop
• Brewing single servings or small quantities (0.3 L)

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with water up to the safety valve, add ground coffee to the filter basket without pressing it down, assemble the moka pot and place it on a stovetop over medium heat. When coffee starts to emerge into the upper chamber, reduce heat and remove the pot from the stove as soon as the flow slows to avoid burning. Use the flat lid surface to warm cups before serving.

Recommendations

Clean the moka pot after each use with warm water; avoid detergents and dishwashers to preserve aluminium finish. Check the rubber gasket and filter plate periodically and replace them if worn to maintain optimal extraction and safety.
