Carta fotografica A3 Canon FA-SM2 Smooth 310 g/m² inkjet

Canon FA-SM2 Smooth 310 g/m² Inkjet is a high-quality A3 photo paper designed for inkjet printing and professional photographic output. The sheet has a smooth white surface and a 310 g/m² weight that supports rich colour reproduction, high black density and fine detail. Developed for use with Canon professional inkjets and genuine LUCIA PRO inks, this paper combines a specialised coating and a 100% cotton base to deliver prints with precise tonality in dark areas, a wide colour gamut and increased longevity.

Advantages

The smooth finish ensures consistent surface uniformity for accurate colour rendering and sharp image detail without visible texture. The 310 g/m² weight provides rigidity and a premium feel suitable for display, portfolio work and archiving. The coating places pigment close to the surface to maximise black density and tonal precision, while the cotton base increases durability and ageing resistance. Compatibility with Canon LUCIA PRO ink optimises colour gamut and image stability.

How to use

Load the A3 sheets in your printer’s manual feed tray or dedicated heavy paper slot according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Select media settings that match a heavy, fine art or premium photo paper and choose the appropriate ink set (Canon LUCIA PRO is recommended). Allow printed sheets to dry flat on a clean surface for the recommended time before handling or framing to avoid smudging. Store unused sheets flat in a cool, dry environment to preserve their physical and optical properties.

Recommendations

For best results, use Canon professional ink formulations and set printer driver options to a premium photo or fine art mode. Handle edges with clean hands or gloves to prevent fingerprints, and allow prints to condition after printing before lamination or framing to ensure stable black density and colour balance.
