Cassetto rack Omnitronic SN-3 3U con serratura — cassetto rack 3U da incasso Omnitronic

The Omnitronic SN-3 3U rack drawer is a compact storage solution designed to fit standard 19" equipment racks. It provides a lockable compartment within a 3U rack space, enabling neat organization and secure storage of tools, cables and small accessories. The drawer is built with sliding guides for reliable, smooth operation and a front-mounted lock to limit access when required. Its low-profile design makes it suitable for studios, server rooms, broadcast racks and mobile rigs where space-efficient, secured storage is needed.

Advantages

The rack drawer combines a 3U form factor with an integrated mechanical lock to protect contents without occupying additional rack units. Smooth sliding guides allow easy access to stored items while maintaining stability during opening and closing. The front panel matches standard rack dimensions for seamless integration, and the drawer’s compact depth helps preserve usable space behind the front of the rack. Materials and construction prioritize practical daily use in technical environments.

How to use

Install the drawer into any standard 19" rack using the front mounting holes and appropriate rack screws. Once secured, slide the drawer open and close using the recessed handle while the sliding guides ensure stable movement. Use the built-in lock to secure the drawer when unattended; keep the key in a safe place. Store tools, cables and smaller components neatly inside to maintain quick access and prevent loose items from shifting during transport or equipment handling.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, avoid overloading the drawer beyond the intended weight capacity and distribute items evenly. Regularly check the lock and sliding mechanism for debris or wear and lubricate the guides if movement becomes stiff. When used in mobile rigs, secure the rack and close the drawer lock before transport to prevent contents from shifting.
