Cavo in fibra ottica DELL 470-AAVJ InfiniBand 3,048 m SFP+ nero

The Dell 470-AAVJ SFP+ Direct Attach Twinax cable delivers 10GbE / InfiniBand connectivity with a length of 3.048 m (approximately 9.84 ft). Designed for use in qualified Dell platforms, this black cable features SFP+ connectors on both ends to provide a compact, low-latency link for data centers and high-performance networking environments.

Advantages

This SFP+ twinax cable supports 10GbE speeds over a fixed 3.048 m length, offers low latency and power-efficient direct-attach connectivity, and includes SFP+ terminations compatible with qualified Dell systems. Its fixed-length, factory-terminated design simplifies installation and reduces the need for additional transceivers or patching components.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and switch-to-server connections in data centers
• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand networks
• Environments requiring short-range 10GbE links (up to 3.048 m)

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: Dell
• Model / MPN: 470-AAVJ
• Interface: SFP+ to SFP+
• Type: Direct Attach Twinax (InfiniBand/10GbE)
• Cable length: 3.048 m (9.84 ft)

How to use

Ensure both ends are compatible SFP+ ports on qualified Dell platforms. With the host devices powered down or following hot-plug guidance from the equipment vendor, insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding port until it latches. Verify link status in the switch or server management interface and monitor for correct operation. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short-distance 10GbE or InfiniBand links within racks or between adjacent racks. Confirm platform compatibility with Dell qualification lists before deployment and avoid exceeding the specified 3.048 m length; replace if connectors or cable jacket show damage.
