Coltello Opinel N°07 Camper/scout blu 001898 lama pieghevole

The Opinel N°07 Camper/scout Blue folding blade combines a 7 cm stainless steel blade with a beechwood handle and a safety ring for secure locking. Designed for outdoor activities, this compact knife integrates traditional Opinel craftsmanship with features adapted to camping and scouting: a durable handle treated to resist water and shocks, a reliably sharp blade, and a rotating safety ring that locks the blade open or closed.

Advantages

The combination of a stainless steel blade and a treated beechwood handle offers a balance of corrosion resistance, cutting performance and comfortable grip. The safety ring provides a simple and proven locking mechanism that increases user safety in open and closed positions. Its compact, foldable design makes it easy to carry in a pocket or pack, while the lightweight construction keeps it suitable for prolonged outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Camping and camp chores
• Scouting and outdoor education
• Hiking and day trips
• Sailing and other water-based activities
• Everyday cutting tasks while outdoors

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel, 7 cm cutting edge
• Handle material: beechwood treated for improved resistance to water and shocks
• Locking mechanism: rotating safety ring that secures blade open or closed
• Design: folding pocket knife, lightweight and compact

How to use

Open the knife by rotating the safety ring to the unlocked position and unfolding the blade until it clicks into the open, locked position. Use the stainless steel blade for cutting tasks appropriate to its size, keeping fingers clear of the cutting edge. After use, rotate the safety ring to lock the blade in the closed position and fold the blade into the handle for safe storage. Regularly check the safety ring and blade for wear and clean the blade after exposure to salt water or dirt.

Recommendations

For safe and long-lasting performance, rinse and dry the blade after exposure to sea water, avoid excessive lateral pressure or prying on the blade, and periodically oil the pivot point to maintain smooth opening and reliable locking.
