Compressore ad aria compressa Metabo Basic 250-24 W

The Metabo Basic 250-24 W is a portable oil-lubricated piston air compressor designed for simple commercial and workshop use. It provides an intake capacity of 200 l/min and a maximum working pressure of 8 bar, driven by a pump motor running at 2850 RPM. The unit weighs 27 kg and includes a 1.5 m power cord. Its black and green housing, rubber-coated handle and rubberised wheels make it easy to move and position while offering a durable construction and reliable air supply for tools and inflation tasks.

Advantages

The compressor features an oil-lubricated pump for durable operation and reliable pressure delivery. A pressure reducer with manometer allows adjustment of working pressure to suit different applications, while an additional manometer displays tank pressure. The model includes a push-button start with safety valve for good cold-start performance and overload protection to prevent motor overheating. Rubberised wheels and a rubber-coated handle enhance mobility and handling. The tank carries a 10-year warranty against rusting.

Suitable for

• Inflating tires and sports equipment
• Operating pneumatic hand tools for light to moderate commercial use
• Painting with small spray guns and airbrushes that match the flow and pressure
• Cleaning workpieces and blowing dust from equipment
• General workshop and DIY tasks requiring compressed air at up to 8 bar

How to use

Place the compressor on a level, stable surface and check that the power supply matches the unit's single-phase requirements. Connect the required air hose and set the desired working pressure using the pressure reducer with manometer. Start the compressor using the push-button; the safety valve assists cold starts. Monitor the tank and regulated pressure via the two manometers while working. If the motor trips due to overload protection, allow it to cool and reset according to the user manual before resuming operation. After use, depressurise the system and store the unit in a dry place.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use clean, dry air lines and periodically check oil levels and pump condition according to the manufacturer's service intervals. Avoid continuous operation near the maximum pressure for extended periods; allow cooling breaks to protect the motor and pump. Ensure the compressor is placed where ventilation is adequate and follow local electrical safety rules when connecting to single-phase supply.
