Connettore per filo Bachmann 940.071 Wieland grigio – connettore Wieland, versione grigia

Bachmann 940.071 is a grey Wieland-compatible wire connector designed for secure electrical connections in installations, junctions and device wiring. It is ready to fit and includes strain relief. The compact connector accepts two connections per pole and is suitable for a range of rigid and flexible conductors.

Advantages

The connector is supplied ready to fit with integrated strain relief for reliable mechanical retention. It accepts rigid conductors from 1.5 to 2.5 mm² and flexible conductors 1.5 mm² when used with end sleeves, providing flexibility for common wiring tasks. Two connections per pole allow parallel wiring or loop-through connections without additional components. The grey finish aids identification and compatibility in professional and domestic electrical installations.

Suitable for

• Electrical installations and junction boxes
• Device connections and appliance wiring
• Parallel or loop-through conductor connections
• Wiring with H05VV and NYM cables (diameter 7.8–10.3 mm)

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: rigid 1.5–2.5 mm²; flexible 1.5 mm² with end sleeves
• Connections per pole: 2
• Cable outer diameter compatibility: 7.8–10.3 mm (H05VV, NYM)
• Sheath stripping length: 45 mm
• Insulation stripped length: 9 mm for both 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm² conductors
• Finish: grey

How to use

Strip the cable sheath to 45 mm and remove 9 mm of conductor insulation. For flexible conductors use end sleeves before insertion. Insert conductors into the appropriate poles ensuring correct polarity and seating, then secure with the connector’s clamping mechanism. Ensure the strain relief engages the cable sheath to provide mechanical retention and prevent conductor movement.

Recommendations

Use this connector where Wieland-compatible terminations are required. Verify conductor cross-sections and outer cable diameter before installation. For flexible conductors always use crimped end sleeves to ensure proper contact and mechanical stability. Follow local electrical codes and switch off power before installation.
