Custodia per rilevatore di movimento SATEL OPC-2 DG — contenitore resistente alle intemperie per rilevatori di movimento SATEL

Weather resistant housing SATEL OPC-2 DG is designed to protect compatible SATEL motion detectors when installed outdoors or in harsh environments. The enclosure shields the sensor from rain, dust and mechanical impact while preserving access for adjustments and maintenance. Its form factor allows secure mounting of a compatible motion detector without altering the sensor’s detection function.

Advantages

The housing provides external protection against weather conditions and mechanical damage while maintaining optical and motion detection performance. Constructed from durable materials, the enclosure resists corrosion and UV exposure to ensure long-term usage. The design includes openings and mounting provisions that allow straightforward installation and periodic access for sensor calibration or battery replacement without removing the detector from the protective shell.

Suitable for

• Outdoor installation of compatible SATEL motion detectors
• Areas with frequent precipitation, dust or wind-driven particles
• Perimeter protection and outdoor lighting control where sensor protection is required
• Locations subject to mechanical impact or vandalism risk

Key specifications

• Environmental protection: weather-resistant enclosure suitable for outdoor conditions
• Material: durable, UV-resistant housing material for long-term exposure
• Mounting: provisions for secure attachment to walls or other surfaces and for installing a compatible motion detector
• Access: design allows maintenance access and sensor adjustments without full disassembly
• Compatibility: intended for specific SATEL motion sensor models designed to fit within the enclosure

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a stable surface at the recommended height for the specific motion detector model. Insert the compatible SATEL motion detector into the housing following the sensor manufacturer’s alignment and orientation guidelines to preserve detection coverage. Secure the detector inside the enclosure using the provided mounting points and fasteners, route cables through the designated entry points, and seal any gaps to maintain weather resistance. Verify sensor operation and adjust sensitivity or coverage as required while the detector remains installed in the housing.

Recommendations

Install the housing in a location that provides the intended field of view for the detector and avoid mounting directly under overhanging structures that could collect water or debris. Periodically inspect seals and mounting hardware for wear, clean external surfaces to prevent accumulation of dirt on the sensor opening, and follow the compatible motion detector’s maintenance schedule to ensure reliable operation.
