Custodia subacquea OM System PT-059 per TG-6/TG-7 — impermeabile fino a 45 m

The OM System PT-059 underwater housing is built to protect OM System/Olympus Tough TG-6 and TG-7 compact cameras during underwater and wet-environment use. Rated waterproof to 45 meters, the housing provides a sealed environment that preserves camera functionality while allowing access to primary shooting controls and the lens port. Constructed for diving, snorkeling and aquatic fieldwork, the PT-059 supports both stills and video capture in high-pressure conditions and helps maintain image quality by preventing water ingress.

Advantages

The housing offers full waterproof protection to a depth of 45 m and precise mechanical control over shutter, zoom and exposure settings without exposing the camera to water. Its optical port is matched to the TG-6/TG-7 lens geometry to minimize distortion and maintain focus performance. The construction uses durable materials and secure sealing mechanisms to ensure reliable operation under repeated pressure cycles. The design also provides clear rear access to the camera display and intuitive external controls for easy operation while wearing gloves.

Suitable for

• Underwater photography and videography while scuba diving to recreational depths
• Snorkeling and freediving in shallow to moderate depths
• Marine research, fieldwork and surveying in wet environments
• Outdoor adventure activities where splash and rain protection is required

Key specifications

• Waterproof rating: 45 meters depth
• Compatible cameras: OM System/Olympus Tough TG-6 and TG-7
• Full mechanical access to shutter, zoom and exposure controls
• Optical lens port designed for compact camera lens geometry
• Rear clear window for LCD visibility and framing
• Durable construction with pressure-resistant sealing

How to use

Before each dive, verify the housing seals, clean the O-ring and apply the recommended lubricant if supplied by the manufacturer. Mount the TG-6 or TG-7 in the housing following alignment guides, close and lock the housing securely, and perform a visual inspection to confirm the seal. Operate the camera using the external controls to set exposure, focus mode and shooting functions as required. After use in salt water, rinse the housing thoroughly with fresh water and dry before opening to remove debris and salt deposits. Store the housing with the back open slightly to preserve the O-ring when not in use for extended periods.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, carry out a leak test in shallow water before any deep dive, avoid pressing hard on the lens port surface, and follow the camera manufacturer’s instructions for underwater operation. Regularly inspect and replace the O-ring if signs of wear or damage appear, and follow specified maintenance intervals to maintain waterproof integrity.
