EFB Elektronik scatola di giunzione SC-APC 9/125µm, 48x pigtail / 24x accoppiatori

In a busy FTTH rollout, technicians need a reliable fiber distribution point that can handle multiple drop cables without signal degradation. This EFB Elektronik splice box delivers exactly that: a compact, wall-mountable enclosure pre-loaded with 48 SC-APC pigtails and 24 SC-APC couplers, ready for splicing up to 48 fibers. The singlemode 9/125µm OS2 pigtails ensure low insertion loss and high return loss, critical for PON and high-speed broadband networks. The box is designed for indoor use, with a robust plastic housing that protects splices from dust and accidental contact. Cable entries with strain relief and a splice tray organizer make installation straightforward, even in tight spaces like building basements or telecom closets.

Why choose it

The factory-terminated pigtails eliminate the need for field connectorization, reducing installation time and ensuring consistent optical performance. The SC-APC interface provides excellent return loss (>60 dB), making it ideal for high-power analog RF overlay and GPON networks. The box's modular design allows for easy re-entry and future expansion, while the clear cover enables quick visual inspection without opening the unit.

Ideal use cases

• FTTH / FTTB distribution points in multi-dwelling units
• Central office or headend fiber management
• Enterprise backbone termination
• Outdoor cabinet integration (with additional weatherproofing)

Good to know

This splice box is part of EFB Elektronik's comprehensive fiber optic product line. It is compatible with standard 250µm and 900µm buffered fibers. The package includes mounting screws and cable ties. For outdoor installations, place the box inside a secondary enclosure to protect against moisture and UV exposure.
