The Gembird CCBP-HDMID-AOC-30M is a 30 m HDMI Active Optical Cable (AOC) that uses fiber optic technology to transmit digital HDMI signals. It carries signals farther than traditional copper HDMI cables (up to 100 m) while reducing the risk of EMI/RFI interference. The cable includes dedicated copper power conductors, so no external power supply is required. It features HDMI Type A (standard) and HDMI Type D (micro) connectors, gold-plated contacts for improved durability, a slim braided jacket and metal connector housings. How to use

Connect the HDMI Type D (micro) end to the source device (for example a camera or smartphone) and the HDMI Type A end to the display or capture device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted. No external power is required thanks to the internal copper power conductors; if the source device limits power delivery, consult the device manual. For best results, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and route the cable to prevent tight kinks.

Recommendations

For installations longer than a few metres, verify that both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate.
