How to use

Remove the existing palmrest by unscrewing mounting screws and releasing tabs, then transfer any necessary components such as the keyboard, touchpad or fingerprint reader to the new palmrest if they are not included. Align the replacement palmrest to the chassis, secure mounting screws and reassemble the laptop in reverse order. Verify port access, touchpad operation and keyboard alignment before full reassembly.

Recommendations

Use compatible tools and follow the official service manual for your Dell model to avoid damage to connectors or hinge assemblies. If unsure about compatibility, confirm the exact laptop model and part fitment before installation. Handle the palmrest on a clean surface to prevent scratches and ensure all connectors are properly seated during reassembly.
