Hama Prime M80 distruggidocumenti microtaglio 68 dB 22 cm nero

The Hama Prime M80 Micro-cut shredder offers GDPR-compliant destruction of confidential paper and plastic cards. With a compact design and a 20-litre waste basket, it combines space-saving dimensions with high security: micro-cut particles of 2 x 12 mm (security level P-5) provide secure disposal of personal and business documents. The unit accepts up to 8 sheets (80 gsm) or 9 sheets (70 gsm) in a single pass and also shreds credit and EC cards via the paper intake. Built-in overheating protection and staple-safe steel cutting shafts ensure reliable operation in home and office environments.

Advantages

The Prime M80 delivers very small micro-cut particles for increased data protection and a higher collection volume in the bin. It shreds paper and plastic cards, supports automatic start/stop and reverse functions to reduce jams, and features overheating protection to avoid premature damage. The compact housing with handle and a viewing window on the 20-litre basket makes handling and emptying convenient. Operating LEDs and a safety mechanism that prevents operation if the head is not correctly inserted increase user safety and ease of use.

Suitable for

• Home offices and private households needing secure document disposal
• Small offices requiring GDPR-compliant shredding of personal data (P-5)
• Destruction of credit cards, EC cards and other plastic cards
• Workspaces with limited floor space where a compact shredder is preferred

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable surface and ensure the device head is correctly seated on the collection basket; the safety mechanism prevents operation otherwise. Use the On/Auto position for automatic start and stop: feed paper or a plastic card into the intake until the rollers engage. For jams, use the Reverse function to release stuck material. Allow the unit to cool if the overheating indicator lights and the device stops automatically.

Recommendations

For safe and long-lasting operation, avoid overloading the intake beyond the specified sheet capacity, remove large clips but not staples, and empty the 20-litre basket regularly. Observe the overload and overheat LEDs and let the shredder cool down when necessary.
