Helikon-Tex Windrunner pantaloni softshell Windpack - Taiga Green, taglia S

When the wind picks up on the trail or the weather turns unexpectedly, ordinary hiking pants leave you chilled and slow you down. The Helikon-Tex Windrunner Windpack Pants solve that by giving you a featherlight, windproof shell that packs into its own pocket—so you can carry serious protection without the bulk.

Who is it for

Built for hikers, runners, cyclists, and anyone who needs a reliable wind barrier that won't weigh them down. The athletic cut and adjustable fit make it ideal for layering over baselayers or wearing solo in mild conditions.

Main features

• WindPack® nylon fabric with DWR coating blocks wind and sheds light rain while staying breathable.
• Self-packing design: the pants fold into an integrated pocket, becoming a compact bundle that clips to a pack or belt.
• Elastic waistband with internal drawstring ensures a secure, custom fit without pressure points.
• Two zippered hand pockets keep essentials safe, and one doubles as the stuff sack.
• Elastic cuffs with drawstring adjustment seal out drafts and allow easy on/off over shoes.
• YKK® zippers throughout for smooth, snag-free operation.

Tips

For maximum packability, fold the pants loosely into the pocket rather than forcing them—this preserves the fabric's DWR finish. Pair with a lightweight baselayer in cool weather, and wash with a technical cleaner to maintain water repellency.
