Hub USB Manhattan USB-A 10 porte, 480 Mbit/s, Nero

The Manhattan USB-A 10-Port Desktop Hub provides ten Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports with a data rate up to 480 Mbps. Designed for desktop use, the compact hub accepts both bus and AC power and is housed in durable plastic. It connects a range of peripherals — such as flash drives, wireless receivers and card readers — while offering overcurrent protection and hot-swappable convenience. Compatible with USB-equipped computers and supporting plug-and-play operation on Windows 7/8 and Mac, this hub replaces smaller, less-capable hubs to centralize connections.

Advantages

The hub supplies ten USB-A ports for simultaneous connections, supports hot-swapping and includes overcurrent protection to safeguard devices. Its compact multiport design conserves desk space and the plug-and-play compatibility simplifies setup without additional drivers. The hub is available in a black finish and is suitable for both bus-powered and externally powered setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting multiple flash drives and external storage
• Attaching wireless receivers (mouse, keyboard, dongles)
• Using card readers and media adapters
• Charging and syncing mobile devices (when hub is AC powered)
• Expanding ports on laptops and desktop computers

How to use

Place the hub on a stable surface near your computer and connect its host cable into an available USB-A port on the computer. If higher charging current is required, connect the optional AC adapter to the hub before attaching devices. Insert USB peripherals into any of the ten ports; devices are hot-swappable so they can be added or removed while the computer is running. The hub is plug-and-play with supported operating systems and does not normally require driver installation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the supplied or compatible external power adapter when connecting multiple power-hungry devices. Avoid overloading a single port with high-current chargers; distribute charging devices across the hub and the host computer ports as needed.
