Why choose it

Merino wool is a performance powerhouse. It regulates body temperature by trapping air within its fibres, keeping you warm in cold conditions and cool when you overheat. The fabric also moves moisture away from your skin, so you stay dry during intense activity. Unlike synthetic materials, merino is naturally odour-resistant, so you can wear these leggings longer between washes. The high-rise design offers extra coverage and comfort, while the slim fit layers easily under ski pants or trousers without restriction. Icebreaker's commitment to sustainability is evident in the ZQ-certified wool, which guarantees ethical farming and durable, natural fibres.

Ideal use cases

• Hiking and backpacking
• Skiing and snowboarding
• Winter running and training
• Everyday wear under jeans or dresses
• Travel and outdoor adventures

Good to know

Caring for merino is simple. Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent or wool-specific wash. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they can damage the natural fibres. To dry, lay flat or line dry in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. Merino's natural elasticity means it retains its shape wash after wash, making it a durable investment in your wardrobe.
