How to use

Connect the Kingston IronKey S1000 to a USB Type-A port on a compatible host to access the drive. Set up a complex password or a passphrase (up to 255 characters) on first use according to on-screen prompts. The drive automatically encrypts data using the on-device Cryptochip and protects data if the drive is removed or if physical tampering is detected. After ten incorrect password attempts the device will lock; follow the vendor procedure to reformat or securely destroy the drive if required.
