La Sportiva Skwama scarpetta da arrampicata - giallo/nero - EU 42,5

On steep limestone pockets and overhanging resin volumes, the La Sportiva Skwama gives boulderers and sport climbers the precision and power to commit to the next move. Its aggressive downturn and high asymmetry concentrate force over the big toe, while the ultra-sticky Vibram XS Grip2 sole in 3.5 mm thickness delivers reliable friction on smears and micro-edges. The single Velcro strap and slip-lasted construction allow quick on/off between attempts, and the patented S-Heel™ cups the heel securely for heel hooks. Built on the PD 75 last with the P3 System™, the Skwama maintains its downturned shape over time, ensuring consistent performance from the first session to the last.

Why choose it

The Skwama is a proven performer for climbers who demand both sensitivity and support on steep terrain. Its aggressive profile and asymmetric last put power exactly where you need it, while the split lining balances breathability and comfort. The Vibram XS Grip2 rubber is renowned for its friction on polished footholds and volumes, giving you confidence on insecure moves. The single strap closure is fast and effective, making it a favourite for bouldering sessions where you take your shoes off frequently. With the P3 System™, you won't lose that aggressive downturn after months of use.

Ideal use cases

• Bouldering on steep overhangs and roofs
• Sport climbing on routes with small edges and pockets
• Indoor climbing and competitions where precision and heel hooking matter
• Climbers who prefer a downturned, high-performance fit

Good to know

The Skwama is unisex and fits true to size for a performance fit; many climbers downsize by half to one full size from their street shoe for a snug, powerful feel. The leather upper will stretch slightly with use, while the synthetic microfiber parts maintain their shape. For best durability, allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat and store them in a cool, dry place. The S-Heel™ design reduces dead space in the heel, improving sensitivity for heel hooks. This model is a top choice among La Sportiva's aggressive line, balancing high-end performance with surprising comfort for its category.
