Lama per seghetto alternativo Bosch S 522 EF bimetallico 5 pz. taglio metallo

The Bosch S 522 EF Bimetal jigsaw blade set (5 pcs) is intended for cutting thin sheet metal with accuracy and durability. Each blade is 100 mm long with a tooth spacing of 1.4 mm and is made from bimetal for extended life. The pack of five blades suits repeated use in workshop and on-site tasks requiring straight, reliable metal cuts.

Advantages

Bimetal construction combines flexibility and hardness to resist breakage and wear when cutting thin metals. The 1.4 mm tooth pitch delivers controlled, clean cutting performance in 1.5–4 mm sheet steels. A standardized shank ensures compatibility with most jigsaws that accept T-shank blades, while the 100 mm length offers a balance between reach and stability.

Suitable for

• Cutting thin sheet metals from 1.5 mm to 4 mm thickness
• Straight and curved metal cuts in steel and non-ferrous sheets
• Workshop use and professional metalworking tasks
• DIY projects involving metal panels and enclosures

How to use

Fit the Bosch S 522 EF blade into a compatible jigsaw according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the blade is installed with the teeth pointing in the cutting direction and the shank locked securely. Mark the cut line on the metal sheet, clamp the workpiece to prevent movement, and cut at a steady feed rate to avoid overheating the blade. Use appropriate coolant or cutting oil when required for cleaner cuts and longer blade life, and replace blades when signs of wear or reduced cutting performance appear.

Recommendations

Use protective gloves and eye protection when cutting metal. Select appropriate jigsaw speed and apply light, consistent pressure to extend blade life; for repetitive or heavy-duty cutting, consider periodic use of cutting lubricant and occasional blade replacement to maintain cutting quality.
