Lancom bundle router 1800VAW+ Advanced VPN Client+ Technologie

For branch offices and remote sites that demand secure, high-speed connectivity without compromise, the LANCOM 1800VAW combines VDSL2/ADSL2+ and Gigabit Ethernet WAN flexibility with dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and an integrated 25-tunnel VPN engine. Unlike consumer routers, it is built on the LCOS operating system, offering professional firewall, SD-WAN readiness, and granular management—now bundled with a 1-user LANCOM Advanced VPN Client license for immediate remote access deployment.

Highlights

• Business VPN router with 25 concurrent IPSec tunnels (expandable to 50) and up to 200 Mbps VPN throughput
• Dual-WAN: VDSL2/ADSL2+ (Annex A/B/J/M) plus configurable Gigabit Ethernet for load balancing or failover
• Concurrent dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) with 2x2 MIMO internal antennas for reliable wireless coverage
• Stateful inspection firewall with DoS protection and up to 1 Gbps firewall throughput
• Includes LANCOM Advanced VPN Client (1-user license) for secure client-to-site VPN connections
• SD-WAN ready and fully manageable via LANCOM Management Cloud or local LCOS interface

In daily use

Deploy the 1800VAW as the central gateway in a small office or branch. Connect to the internet via DSL or Ethernet, then create secure site-to-site VPNs to headquarters or cloud resources. The integrated Wi-Fi 5 access point eliminates the need for a separate AP, while the USB 2.0 port supports a 3G/4G modem for cellular backup. With the included Advanced VPN Client, a remote employee can establish an encrypted tunnel to the office network using a Windows PC, ensuring data protection on public Wi-Fi. The device operates silently on a desktop and is powered by an external 12V DC adapter.
