Lucchetto tradizionale ABUS T65AL/40

The ABUS T65AL/40 is a conventional padlock with a keyed-to-differ key mechanism designed for general-purpose locking. The lock has a compact body width of 4.3 cm, a depth of 1.8 cm and an overall height of 62 mm. Supplied with two keys, this white-coloured padlock combines a small footprint and straightforward key operation for everyday use on gates, lockers, cabinets and storage boxes.

Advantages

The padlock offers simple and reliable security through a mechanical key cylinder that is resistant to casual tampering. Its compact dimensions and lightweight construction make it easy to carry and install in confined spaces. The white finish provides a neutral appearance suitable for domestic and commercial settings. Two supplied keys reduce the need for immediate duplication and allow one spare key for alternate users.

Suitable for

• Securing garden gates and outdoor storage cupboards (when protected from extreme weather)
• Locking lockers, toolboxes and small cabinets
• Protecting sheds, storage boxes and caravan compartments
• General-purpose indoor and semi-outdoor applications

Key specifications

• Lock type: conventional padlock with key cylinder
• Keying: keyed to differ (each lock has unique keys)
• Body width: 4.3 cm
• Body depth: 1.8 cm
• Overall height: 62 mm
• Colour: white
• Weight: 0.098 kg
• Supplied with two keys

How to use

Insert the supplied key into the cylinder and turn to retract the shackle for opening. To lock, close the shackle into the body until it clicks and remove the key. Keep the spare key in a secure location separate from the padlock. Regularly check the cylinder and shackle for dirt or corrosion; clean the exterior with a soft cloth and apply a light silicone-based lubricant to the shackle if operation becomes stiff. Avoid forcing the key or shackle to prevent damage to the lock mechanism.

Recommendations for use

For prolonged outdoor use, mount the padlock where it is sheltered from direct rain and salt spray. If the application requires higher resistance to weather or heavy-duty attacks, consider a padlock with a weatherproof body and hardened shackle. Keep the keys out of reach of children and maintain a spare key to reduce the risk of lockout.
