Matita grafite Faber-Castell 117805 HB 5 pezzi

The Faber-Castell Graphite Pencil 117805 HB is a water-soluble graphite pencil designed for both preliminary sketches and finished graphite watercolour techniques. This pack contains five HB pencils with a 3.3 mm extra break-resistant lead in a hexagonal barrel that provides a secure grip for writing and drawing.

Advantages

The 3.3 mm lead offers increased durability and smoother application compared with thinner leads. Water-soluble graphite allows easy blending with a wet brush to create washes and tonal transitions. The HB hardness delivers a balanced line suitable for general-purpose drawing and sketching, while the hexagonal shape ensures comfortable handling.

Suitable for

• Preliminary sketches for watercolour paintings
• Graphite watercolour techniques and washes
• Everyday writing and general drawing
• Art classes, student use and practice sketches

How to use

Use the pencils dry for precise lines, shading and sketching. To create watercolour effects, draw or shade the area and then apply a wet brush to the graphite marks to dissolve and blend the pigment into washes. Allow layers to dry before adding further wet treatments to avoid overworking the paper.

Recommendations

Store pencils horizontally or with protected tips to minimise breakage. Use suitable paper for wet techniques—heavier weight watercolour paper gives better results when activating the graphite with water.
