Matita in grafite Faber-Castell 110038 36 pezzi

The Faber-Castell Graphite Pencil set of 36 offers a comprehensive range of graphite grades for precise writing, sketching and technical drawing. Each pencil is crafted with a strong, break-resistant core and an ergonomic wooden barrel that supports comfortable handling during long sessions. The set covers multiple hardness levels to suit detailed shading, line work and quick notes, making it suitable for students, illustrators and professionals who require reliable graphite performance.

Advantages

This 36-piece graphite collection provides consistent laydown and smooth tonal transitions across different hardness grades. The lead formulation resists breaking under normal pressure, reducing interruptions during work. The pencils are balanced for comfortable grip and control, and the uniform manufacturing ensures predictable results when blending or layering tones. The set’s variety of grades eliminates the need to constantly resharpen for different effects, supporting workflow efficiency.

Suitable for

• Sketching and preliminary drawings for artists
• Technical and architectural drafting
• Student exercises and classroom use
• Portrait and figure drawing requiring tonal range
• Everyday writing and note-taking with variable line weights

Key specifications

• Count: 36 graphite pencils covering a wide range of hardness grades
• Core: strong, break-resistant graphite for durability
• Barrel: ergonomic wooden casing for comfortable grip
• Finish: smooth lead laydown suitable for blending and shading
• Applications: suitable for detailed line work and tonal shading

How to use

Select the hardness grade appropriate for the task and sharpen with a suitable pencil sharpener to obtain a fine point for detailed lines or a blunter tip for broader shading. Apply light, even pressure for preliminary sketches and increase pressure gradually for darker tones. Use layering and cross-hatching techniques to build depth and control tonal transitions. Keep spare sharpened pencils available to maintain workflow and replace worn points as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, pair these graphite pencils with smooth, medium-weight drawing paper and a good quality sharpener. Use a kneaded rubber or soft eraser for highlights and corrections, and consider a blending stump for subtle gradations. Store the set in a dry place to preserve the wooden barrels and lead integrity.
