Matita in grafite Faber-Castell 580074 B azzurro a sezione triangolare

The Faber-Castell 580074 graphite pencil is a B-grade writing and drawing instrument with a triangular barrel in light blue. Designed for smooth, consistent strokes, the pencil balances graphite darkness with control, making it suitable for both sketching and everyday writing. The blister pack contains three pencils to provide a small set for classroom, studio, or home use.

Advantages

The triangular shape supports a comfortable grip and helps maintain proper hand posture during extended use. The B hardness offers a softer, darker line compared with HB, allowing for expressive shading and clearer marks on paper. The light blue lacquered finish makes individual pencils easy to identify while providing a durable outer surface that resists wear. The set of three ensures you have spare pencils available without frequent replacement.

Suitable for

• Sketching and shading in art classes or studios
• Note-taking and everyday writing for students
• Technical drawing and quick drafts

Key specifications

• Graphite hardness: B (soft, darker line)
• Barrel shape: Triangular for ergonomic grip
• Colour: Light blue lacquered finish
• Pack quantity: 3 pencils per blister pack
• Intended use: Writing, sketching, shading

How to use

Sharpen the pencil with a standard pencil sharpener until the desired point is achieved. Hold the triangular barrel between thumb, index, and middle finger to benefit from the ergonomic shape during writing or drawing. Use softer strokes for lighter shading and increased pressure for darker lines. Replace the pencil when the graphite becomes too short to hold comfortably or when the tip cannot be sharpened further.

Recommendations

For controlled shading and longer lasting tips, use a quality sharpener and avoid excessive pressure that may cause the lead to break. Store pencils in a dry place and keep them in the blister pack or a pencil case to protect the lacquered surface.
