Metabo 630259000 Platorello di supporto per smerigliatrice angolare, 125 mm, M14, velcro, medio

For professionals who demand a reliable foundation for sanding and polishing, the Metabo 630259000 backing pad delivers consistent results on 125 mm angle grinders. Its M14 thread screws directly onto the spindle, eliminating adapters and reducing vibration. The hook and loop surface allows quick changes of sanding discs, fibre discs, or polishing bonnets, while the medium hardness balances flexibility and durability for flat and slightly contoured surfaces. Rated up to 12,200 RPM, this pad matches the speed of most Metabo grinders, ensuring safe operation without overstressing the material.

Highlights

• Direct M14 screw-on mounting for secure fit and minimal run-out
• Hook and loop (Velcro) attachment for fast abrasive changes
• Medium pad hardness: flexible enough for contours, firm enough for stock removal
• High-quality composite body with metal thread for long service life
• Compatible with all standard 125 mm hook and loop sanding discs and fibre discs
• Maximum speed 12,200 RPM – ideal for high-performance angle grinders

In daily use

Swap from grinding to sanding in seconds: screw the pad onto your Metabo angle grinder, press on a hook and loop disc, and you're ready to smooth welds, remove paint, or prepare surfaces for coating. The medium-density pad absorbs minor irregularities, reducing edge digging and extending abrasive life. For polishing, attach a lambswool bonnet and work at lower speeds for a mirror finish. The balanced design minimises vibration, reducing operator fatigue during long sessions.
