Sharp MultiSync E244FL is a 24" (61 cm) Full HD LCD monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution on a VA panel. The display offers a 16:9 aspect ratio, 240 cd/m² typical brightness, a 6 ms response time and a typical contrast ratio of 3000:1. Ergonomic design features include height adjustment, swivel, tilt and pivot, and built-in speakers and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub extend connectivity. The monitor supports VESA mounting and is available in a black finish.

Advantages

The VA panel provides high typical contrast for deeper blacks and improved image depth compared with many TN or IPS alternatives, supporting comfortable viewing of office documents and multimedia. Integrated USB hub and USB-C/embedded LAN options reduce cable clutter by enabling the display to act as a central docking point for a workstation. Height adjustability together with swivel, tilt and pivot functions allow personalised ergonomic setup to suit a range of desk layouts and user preferences.

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or bracket if preferred. Connect the source device using HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C; if USB-C is used, the display can provide docking functions for peripherals connected to the integrated USB hub. Adjust the height, tilt, swivel and pivot to establish an ergonomic viewing angle, and use the on-screen display (OSD) to fine-tune brightness, colour and input settings. Connect audio devices to the audio output or use the built-in speakers for basic sound.

Recommendations

For prolonged office use, enable the Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free modes to reduce eye strain. Position the top of the screen at or slightly below eye level and maintain an arm's length viewing distance to optimise ergonomics. Use the monitor's USB hub to centralise peripherals and reduce desktop clutter; if using multiple displays, set consistent brightness and colour settings across units for a uniform workspace.
