Nastro in tessuto Tesa 4657, 19 mm x 50 m, grigio, tessuto speciale rivestito in plastica

Tesa 4657 fabric tape, 19 mm x 50 m in gray, is a plastic-coated special fabric tape designed for sealing, bundling and protective applications. The tape pairs the flexibility and conformability of a cloth backing with a coated surface that improves abrasion and moisture resistance. Its 19 mm width and 50 m length make it convenient for repeated use in repair tasks, cable fastening, temporary fixtures and general-purpose holding where a durable yet conformable tape is required.

Advantages

The plastic-coated fabric backing offers enhanced resistance to wear and light moisture compared with uncoated cloth tapes, while retaining good tearability and flexibility for wrapping and contouring around irregular shapes. The gray color provides a neutral appearance for visible applications. The tape adheres reliably to many common surfaces and can be torn by hand for quick use, reducing the need for cutting tools in many situations.

Suitable for

• Temporary repairs and fixes on textiles, plastics and metal surfaces
• Cable bundling and securing wiring runs
• Protective wrapping during transport or storage
• Marking and color-coding in workshops and sites
• General maintenance and field repairs

Key specifications

• Backing material: special fabric with plastic coating
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for general surfaces
• Width: 19 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Color: gray
• Mechanical properties: flexible, conformable, tearable by hand
• Environmental resistance: improved abrasion and light moisture resistance due to coating

How to use

Ensure the surfaces to be taped are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose particles for optimal adhesion. Unwind the required length, press the tape firmly onto the substrate and smooth along the length to remove air pockets. For bundling, wrap with sufficient overlap to secure cables or objects; for protective wrapping, ensure edges are sealed. The tape can normally be torn by hand across its width to the required length or cut with scissors for cleaner edges.

Recommendations

Use this fabric tape for indoor and short-term outdoor applications where mechanical abrasion or occasional moisture exposure is expected. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and solvents; for permanent outdoor sealing or chemical resistance needs, select a tape specified for long-term environmental resistance.
