Telecamera dome IP OMEGA-40P18-6-AI - 5 MP, zoom ottico 18x, riconoscimento AI

Monitoring large outdoor areas with a single fixed camera often leaves blind spots and requires multiple devices. The OMEGA-40P18-6-AI IP speed dome camera solves this by combining 360° continuous pan, -15° to 90° tilt, and an 18x motorized optical zoom. Its 5 MP Sony Starvis sensor captures fine details at distances up to 100 meters in complete darkness thanks to powerful IR illumination. Built-in AI analytics distinguish humans and vehicles from other moving objects, reducing false alarms and focusing attention on real threats.

Who is it for

This camera is ideal for businesses, warehouses, parking lots, and large residential properties that require flexible, high-detail surveillance. Security integrators and IT administrators will appreciate its PoE+ power, ONVIF compliance, and local microSD storage for edge recording.

Tips

For optimal performance, mount the camera at a height of 3–5 meters and ensure the lens is not obstructed. Use a PoE+ switch or injector to simplify cabling. Configure AI detection zones in the web interface to focus on critical areas and reduce false triggers. Regularly check and format the microSD card to maintain recording reliability.
