Pedale delay digitale TC Electronic The Prophet (modello 000-CAZ00-00010)

The TC Electronic The Prophet is a compact digital delay pedal designed for electric guitar and other instruments. It delivers adjustable repeats and delay times to shape echoes, create rhythmic repetitions and add spatial depth to your sound. The pedal features a straightforward control layout and a small footprint that suits both studio setups and live pedalboards.

Advantages

The Prophet provides precise digital delay tones with consistent repeat clarity and minimal noise. Its compact housing saves space on a pedalboard while retaining a usable control set for quick on-stage adjustments. The unit is suitable for a variety of musical styles thanks to its flexible delay range and stable timing. Built by a reputable brand, the pedal integrates easily with standard guitar rigs and effects chains.

Suitable for

• Electric guitarists seeking repeat and echo effects
• Session players needing compact, reliable delay on stage
• Home and project studio use for adding spatial depth
• Pedalboard setups where space is limited

Key specifications

• Effect type: digital delay
• Controls: adjustable delay time and repeat level (control layout varies by model)
• Signal compatibility: instrument-level signals (guitar, bass, keyboards with appropriate levels)
• Form factor: compact stompbox suitable for pedalboards
• Power: external DC power supply required (standard pedal power)

How to use

Connect the Prophet between your instrument and amplifier or within an effects loop using standard 1/4" cables. Power the unit with a compatible DC power supply rated for guitar pedals. Start with moderate delay time and feedback settings, then adjust the delay time to match song tempo and the repeat level to achieve the desired number of echoes. Use the pedal’s footswitch to engage or bypass the effect during performance.

Recommendations

For clean delay textures, set lower feedback and moderate delay time; for rhythmic patterns, sync delay time to tempo and increase repeats. When integrating with modulation or reverb pedals, place The Prophet before time-based modulation for clearer repeats or after modulation for chorused echoes. Use a regulated pedal power supply to minimize noise and ensure stable operation.
