PIKO H0 51167 locomotiva diesel/elettrica BR 248 Northrail

This H0 scale model replicates the Siemens Vectron BR 248 multi-system locomotive operated by Northrail, featuring a factory-installed PluX22 sound decoder for immediate digital operation. Unlike basic DC models, it is configured for AC power and includes directional LED lighting and close coupling kinematics for realistic train consists.

Highlights

• Factory-installed sound module with SmartControl light sound
• Digital decoder with PluX22 interface (NEM 658)
• Directional LED lighting in white and red
• Close coupling kinematics and NEM shaft
• Two traction tires for improved pulling power
• Minimum radius 358 mm

In daily use

The BR 248 handles tight curves with a minimum radius of 358 mm, making it suitable for many H0 layouts. The PluX22 decoder supports DCC and Märklin digital systems, and the sound module adds authentic locomotive sounds. The model is built from high-quality plastic and metal components and is recommended for ages 14 and up.
