How to use

For backflushing, follow the espresso machine manufacturer’s instructions: place the appropriate dose of Cafiza powder in the blind filter or detergent disc, engage the machine’s pump in short cycles and rinse thoroughly until no residue remains. For soak cleaning, dissolve the recommended amount of powder in hot water, submerge portafilters, baskets and shower screens until oils and residues are loosened, then rinse with clean water. Use the minimum effective concentration and ensure all parts are completely rinsed before reassembly to avoid taste impact.

Recommendations

Use Cafiza regularly as part of a preventative maintenance schedule: daily or multiple times per day in high-use commercial environments, and periodically for home machines. Always handle the powder with dry utensils, avoid ingestion, and store in a cool, dry place away from children. Follow any additional safety and usage instructions provided by your espresso machine manufacturer.
