How to use

Hand-start the extender into the female G1/4 port of the first component to avoid cross-threading, then tighten until snug using an appropriate wrench if required. Align the second component and thread it onto the other male end in the same manner. Do not force the fitting; ensure threads engage smoothly. Recommendations
