Rab Alpine Bivi Sacco bivvy - Horizon

The Rab Alpine Bivi is a lightweight, fully waterproof bivvy bag designed for alpine climbing, backpacking, and emergency shelter. Constructed with Pertex Shield Air 15D nylon ripstop top fabric and a durable 70D nylon base with PU coating, it offers reliable protection in harsh conditions. The mummy tapered shape reduces weight and bulk, while the half-length YKK zipper with internal storm flap provides easy access and weather sealing. Fully taped seams ensure complete waterproofness, and the bathtub floor construction keeps moisture out. Ideal for minimalist adventurers seeking a compact, breathable shelter.

Advantages

Ultralight and packable, the Alpine Bivi excels in weight-conscious setups. The Pertex Shield Air fabric delivers exceptional breathability (20,000 g/m²/24h MVTR) to reduce condensation, while the top fabric's 10,000 mm HH and base's 15,000 mm HH ratings guarantee dryness. The drawcord closure at the hood seals out drafts, and the mummy shape minimizes excess fabric.
