Single-piece welded wall enclosure IP20, load capacity from 60–100 kg. High structural stability The distributor has a robust welded structure. The high quality of workmanship and the latest technologies ensure the great appearance of the enclosures. Doors The doors of the enclosures are made of solid glass as standard, but can also be made of solid sheet metal or perforated on request. Flexible door opening The hinge system allows the door to be opened 165°. The doors can be easily removed. The door hinge can be changed by turning the entire enclosure. All-glass The all-glass doors are made of 4 mm thick shock-resistant tempered glass. If broken, they shatter into many small splinters, like car glass. For safety reasons, we recommend closing the all-glass door after installing components to avoid collisions with other objects. Our all-glass doors have been tested by a certified testing laboratory and meet the requirements of CSN EN 12150-1+A: Glass in building – thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass. The tested glass meets the standard for disintegration after glass breakage, certificate of conformity CQ-24-2023, test report IKATES 58A-2024. Door lock Easy and fast access to the enclosure. Adjustable vertical rails The 19’ vertical rails are freely adjustable in the depth of the cabinet. This facilitates the installation of components and cable management. Included in the scope of delivery is 1 pair of verticals. On the rear wall of the enclosure is a perforation that replaces the second pair of verticals. Another option is to purchase vertical grid rails as optional accessories. Break-out panels The roof, floor and rear panel of the enclosure have cable entries with break-out panels. They can be sealed against dust using the brush strip (included in the accessory pack). Ventilation The one-piece RBA has six knock-out openings in the A6 version for mounting the RAx-CH-X2x-X1 ventilation units (or the RAX-CH-X07-X9 fans – NOT intended for the German market! – up to three in the top and three in the bottom of the enclosure). This means that components that previously could not be cooled in wall-mounted enclosures and had to be installed in floor-standing enclosures can now also be installed in RBA enclosures. One-piece 19’ wall-mounted enclosure with IP20 protection The enclosure is mounted directly on the wall. The distributor includes two adjustable vertical grid rails. Distributor design: compact welded construction, solid glass door with 4 mm thick safety glass, optionally with solid sheet or perforated door. The permissible load capacity of the individual doors is max. 10 kg. The minimum application thickness is 65 µm. The enclosures are designed for the installation of data and telecommunications equipment and their distribution systems. All removable parts are connected to earthing cables, which must be properly attached and plugged in throughout the entire service life of the enclosure. An M8 bolt is provided in the base of the cabinet as a central earthing point. Cable entry knockouts are provided in the top and bottom of the rear of the enclosure, with a further two in the roof and base. The A6 version has knockouts in the roof and base for the use of fans.

How to use

Choose a structurally sound wall capable of supporting the rack and its fully loaded weight plus safety margin. Mark mounting points according to the rack's mounting template and install appropriate anchors or fixings for the wall material. Attach the rack frame securely, verify level, and fasten front and rear mounting rails if required. Install networking components into the rack using standard rack screws and ensure even weight distribution. Route cables neatly through available openings and secure them to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For safe operation, do not exceed the 30 kg maximum load and distribute equipment weight evenly across the 15U space. Allow clearance around the rack for ventilation and cable access. Use matched rack-mount hardware and follow local building and electrical codes when mounting and powering equipment.
