Rilevatore di movimento Renkforce 1034069

The Renkforce 1034069 Motion Detector is a wired passive infrared (PIR) sensor designed for outdoor wall mounting. It detects motion at distances up to 12 meters and is intended for permanent AC mains installation at 230 V. The sensor’s compact footprint and low standby power consumption make it suitable for continuous security monitoring and lighting control in residential and commercial outdoor environments.

Advantages

The device offers reliable passive infrared detection with a reach of up to 12 m, combined with low idle power draw of approximately 0.45 W. Its wired AC supply provides stable operation without reliance on batteries, and the compact, lightweight housing simplifies mounting on walls and facades. The design focuses on practical installation and consistent performance in outdoor locations.

Suitable for

• Outdoor security detection for homes and small businesses
• Automatic control of exterior lighting (porches, pathways, building façades)
• Perimeter monitoring and entryway detection
• Integration with wired alarm or lighting systems

Key specifications

• Sensor type: Passive infrared (PIR)
• Mounting: Wall mount for outdoor use
• Detection distance: up to 12 metres
• Power supply: AC mains, nominal 230 V input
• Standby power consumption: approx. 0.45 W
• Dimensions: width 63 mm × height 92 mm
• Weight: approx. 160 g

How to use

Install the motion detector on an exterior wall at the recommended height for optimal coverage, ensuring the detection zone is not obstructed by foliage or objects. Connect the unit to the building’s AC wiring following local electrical codes and switch off mains power before making connections. After powering the device, adjust any available orientation or sensitivity settings per the installer instructions to achieve the desired detection range and minimize false triggers from nearby heat sources.

Recommendations

Position the sensor so its field of view covers the intended approach paths and avoid aiming it directly at heat-generating equipment or reflective surfaces. Use the detector as part of a wired lighting or security circuit with proper circuit protection; periodic checks of mounting and wiring are recommended to maintain reliable operation in outdoor conditions.
