How to use

Select a suitable pop rivet gun and the correct rivet size for the materials to be joined. Drill a hole matching the 4.8 mm tail diameter, insert the rivet into the hole, position the mandrel into the rivet gun, and squeeze the tool until the rivet sets and the mandrel breaks off. Remove any loose mandrel remnants and verify a secure joint.

Recommendations

For best results, use the rivets with the recommended pop rivet gun (part no. 407200) and pre-drill holes to the specified diameter. Avoid using these aluminium rivets in highly stressed structural applications or where galvanic corrosion might occur between dissimilar metals without proper isolation.
