ROTHENBERGER 222401 attrezzo bordatore eccentrico conico 1/8 inch–3/4 inch (4–19 mm) con cricchetto, bordatura semplice e doppia a 45°

Conventional flaring tools demand constant alignment and pressure control, often leading to uneven seats and material stress. This ROTHENBERGER eccentric cone flaring tool replaces that struggle with a controlled, repeatable process. The tumbling cone rolls the flare into shape rather than pressing it, reducing stress and producing a smooth, burr-free seat every time. The integrated ratchet mechanism handles the heavy work, enabling one-hand operation even in tight spaces and awkward angles.

Highlights

• Eccentric cone (tumbling) flaring system for uniform 45° flares
• Covers imperial 1/8"–3/4" and metric 4–19 mm tubing
• Produces both single and double flares without changing tools
• Self-centering clamp grips copper, aluminum, brass, and thin-walled steel
• Ratchet-assisted drive with automatic stop ensures consistent flare depth
• Hardened steel cone and compact design for long service life and portability

In daily use

Slide the tube into the self-centering clamp, set the diameter, and work the ratchet until the automatic stop clicks. The eccentric cone orbits the tube end, forming a perfectly concentric flare without tearing or thinning the wall. Double flares are just as straightforward: the first pass creates the bell, the second folds it inward for a reinforced seat. Because the tool is manually driven, you keep full control over speed and pressure, which is critical when working with soft copper or thin-walled steel in HVAC, refrigeration, automotive, or plumbing systems.
