Scarico di trazione per cavo ACT TT4523 RJ45 verde per cavo da 6,5 mm

The ACT RJ45 green boot is designed for 6.5 mm network cables to provide protection and strain relief for RJ45 connectors. Made to fit snugly over the connector and cable jacket, this cable boot helps maintain connector integrity, reduce cable bending stress at the termination point and supports clearer cable identification through its green colour. Packs contain 25 pieces, suitable for installation and maintenance workflows in structured cabling environments. The product carries CE and RoHS compliance indicating conformity with relevant safety and environmental standards.

Advantages

This cable boot offers reinforced strain relief to reduce the risk of connector damage from repeated bending or pulling. The snug fit minimizes exposure of the connector latch and helps prevent accidental disengagement. The green colour supports colour-coded cable runs and easier visual management of network infrastructure. Supplied in multi-piece packs, it streamlines deployment for larger installations.

Suitable for

• Termination of CAT5e/CAT6 network cables with 6.5 mm outer diameter
• Colour-coded patch panels, switches and patch cords in data centres and offices
• Field installation, maintenance and repair tasks where strain relief is required
• Bulk installation projects where packs of 25 boots improve workflow efficiency

Key specifications

• Compatible cable outer diameter: 6.5 mm
• Connector type compatibility: RJ45
• Colour: green
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces
• Certifications: CE, RoHS compliant
• Material: flexible protective polymer (non-specified formulation)

How to use

Slide the boot over the un-terminated cable before crimping the RJ45 plug. After crimping the connector, push the boot forward until it covers the connector body and the cable jacket, ensuring the latch protection aligns with the boot opening. Verify that the boot provides a firm fit and that the cable can flex without exposing the connector strain relief. For already terminated cables, remove the connector from the socket and slide the boot on prior to re-seating the cable if possible.

Recommendations

Store boots in a dry, temperate environment to maintain material flexibility. Choose colour-coded boots to simplify cable management and reduce troubleshooting time. Inspect boots for damage before installation and replace boots showing tears or hardening that could impair strain relief.
