SCARPA Zodiac Tech GTX Scarpa da montagna tecnica uomo antracite/tonic 44,5 EU

Technical terrain demands a boot that balances precision, protection, and all-day comfort. The SCARPA Zodiac Tech GTX answers that call, delivering a semi-automatic crampon-compatible platform wrapped in a water-resistant Perwanger suede upper and a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining. This is the boot for moving fast and confidently through alpine approaches, via ferrata, and light mountaineering routes where every gram counts and every step matters.

Who is it for

The Zodiac Tech GTX is built for male mountaineers and technical hikers who need a versatile, medium-stiff boot that can handle rocky ridges, scree slopes, and glacier travel with a semi-automatic crampon. It suits those who want a single boot for long approaches and moderate alpine climbs, without the weight and bulk of a full-shank expedition boot.

Main features

• Water-resistant 1.8mm Perwanger suede leather upper for durability and abrasion resistance.
• GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane keeps feet dry while allowing breathability during high-output activity.
• Sock-Fit XT construction wraps the foot snugly, reducing bulk and enhancing precision on technical terrain.
• Vibram Drumlin / Mont outsole with a semi-automatic crampon heel welt for secure traction and compatibility with B2 crampons.
• PU + EVA midsole provides shock absorption and underfoot support without excessive weight.
• Full rubber rand protects the boot from rock abrasion and adds toe and heel durability.
• Lace closure system allows a customized, secure fit.

Tips

For a precise fit, wear the socks you plan to use in the mountains when trying on these boots. The Sock-Fit XT construction will mold to your foot over time, but a snug heel and midfoot are essential for technical performance. Pair with a B2 semi-automatic crampon for glacier travel and steep snow.
