Sensore ottico Datalogic 950811190 — sensore ottico di Datalogic, modello 950811190

Datalogic 950811190 is a compact photoelectric sensor from Datalogic's S100 family, designed for reliable non-contact detection in industrial automation. The sensor uses an optical beam to detect objects, presence or changes in light and is suitable for tasks such as object detection, position sensing and conveyor monitoring. The S100 series is a miniature solution with a low-profile housing and multiple fixing points that simplify mounting and integration on production lines and handling equipment.

Advantages

The S100 design offers a very small footprint (20 x 32 x 12 mm) while providing multiple mechanical fixing options: two threaded holes at the front and two slotted holes at the rear for flexible installation. The device removes mechanical adjustments on the housing to speed up commissioning and reduce the risk of accidental tampering. Built with Datalogic's new ASIC, the sensor supports IO-Link communication for programming and parameter adjustment, features dual output channels and provides stable digital signaling without output jitter during communication. Contrast sensing variants (W00 models) extend capability for fast and precise detection tasks.

Suitable for

• Object detection on production and assembly lines
• Position sensing of parts and components
• Conveyor monitoring and material handling systems
• Packaging and pick-and-place applications
• Environments requiring compact sensors with IO-Link configuration

Key specifications

• Miniature housing dimensions: 20 x 32 x 12 mm
• Multiple fixing points: two threaded front holes and two rear slotted holes
• Photoelectric detection principle (optical beam)
• IO-Link programmable with adjustable parameters via communication
• Dual output channels with stable digital output during communication
• Available contrast sensing variants for high speed and precision

How to use

Mount the sensor using the provided threaded or slotted fixing holes according to the available space and orientation requirements. Connect power and I/O wiring following the system design and ensure correct alignment of emitter and receiver (or target orientation for reflective modes). Use IO-Link communication to configure detection parameters, adjust sensing range or switch to contrast sensing modes if applicable. Verify detection performance on the target parts and perform final mechanical securing to prevent movement during operation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the sensing path is free of dust and obstructions and maintain correct alignment with the target. When using IO-Link, configure parameters in a controlled setting before deploying to production to standardize responses across multiple sensors. Select the W00 contrast model when fast, repeatable detection of small or low-contrast targets is required.
