How to use

Install the smart lock on a compatible door (35–60 mm thickness) following the included mechanical and wiring instructions. Power the unit with four AA alkaline batteries and pair it with a ZigBee or Wi‑Fi hub if remote control is required. Use the Tuya Smart or SmartLife app to add users, register fingerprints, issue IC cards and configure passwords or time-limited access. For everyday operation, choose an unlocking method — fingerprint, card, code, app or key — and follow on-screen prompts in the app for event logs and access settings. In case of low battery, supply external power (for example, from a powerbank) to temporarily operate the lock while replacing batteries.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the lock on doors within the specified thickness range, use quality AA alkaline batteries, and keep the Tuya Smart or SmartLife app updated. Regularly review access logs and update temporary passwords after guest stays. For outdoor installations, ensure the door area is protected from direct water jets despite the IP55 rating.
