Set di punte RUBI 50996 — punte diamantate Ø6, 8, 20, 35, 50, 68 mm, 6 pz.

RUBI 50996 is a 6-piece DRYGRES drill bit set that includes diamond bits in diameters 6, 8, 20, 35, 50 and 68 mm. Designed for dry cut drilling, the set is intended for making precise holes in ceramic tiles (including porcelain), glass and similarly brittle surfaces, as well as for use on stone materials such as marble and granite. The bits use vacuum-brazed diamond particles and have an M14 thread for direct attachment to grinders or non-percussive drills (with the RUBI adaptor ref. 05976 when required).

Advantages

DRYGRES bits employ VACUUM BRAZED technology that improves the fixation of diamond grains, increasing resistance to heat and friction during dry drilling. The set offers a range of commonly used diameters in a single case for convenient transport and selection. Larger diameter bits (20–68 mm) include a lateral opening to improve cooling and facilitate removal of solid residues. The M14 connection allows direct fitting to angle grinders or, with an adaptor, to non-percussive drills.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes for water taps and plumbing in ceramic and porcelain tiles
• Creating openings for electrical boxes and conduits in tiled walls
• Installing fixtures and fittings that require precise circular holes in tiles or stone

Key specifications

• Set contents: diamond drill bits Ø6, Ø8, Ø20, Ø35, Ø50, Ø68 mm (6 pieces) and MULTIDRILL guide, supplied in a case
• Intended use: dry cutting/drilling on ceramic tiles, porcelain, glass, marble, granite
• Connection thread: M14 (compatible with grinders; adaptor ref. 05976 for drills)
• Maximum recommended speed: 14,000 rpm
• Drilling depth: 36 mm
• Average life for 20–75 mm sizes: approximately 60 holes (depends on material, thickness, cooling and use)

How to use

Mark the drilling point and position the MULTIDRILL guide to keep the bit steady. Fit the required DRYGRES diamond bit to the tool (use the M14 thread directly on an angle grinder or fit the 05976 adaptor for a non-percussive drill). Start at low speed to create an initial groove, then operate at the recommended rotation up to 14,000 rpm while applying light orbital movement without percussion. For larger diameters, periodically clear debris from the lateral opening and ensure the bit is clean before continuing.

Recommendations

To maximise bit life and achieve a clean finish, respect the correct rotation speed, avoid hammer action, use only slight orbital movement while drilling, and keep the bit free of obstructions. Actual bit life varies with material type, thickness and drilling technique.
