Tastiera ASUS ROG Strix Scope II Gaming RF Wireless USB Nero 96%

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope II is a compact 96% gaming keyboard that combines RF wireless and USB connectivity with mechanical key switches and per-key RGB backlighting. It includes a comfortable detachable wrist rest and comes with high-quality keycap options and sound-dampening features aimed at delivering stable performance for gaming and everyday use.

Advantages

This keyboard offers flexible connectivity via RF wireless and wired USB, low-latency mechanical switching with pre-lubed ROG NX Snow or NX Storm switches, and customizable per-key RGB lighting. Durable keycap options are available in PBT doubleshot or UV-coated ABS, and sound-dampening foam reduces noise for a quieter typing and gaming experience. The design includes three tilt angles and a detachable wrist rest for ergonomic adjustment.

Suitable for

• Competitive and casual PC gaming where a compact 96% layout is preferred
• Streamers and content creators who use dedicated hotkeys and multi-function controls
• Users who value both wireless freedom (RF) and reliable wired USB connection

When it may not be suitable

The 96% layout is compact but retains most keys; users who require a full-size keyboard with a separate numeric keypad may find this layout limiting. Those who prefer non-mechanical or specific third-party switch types should verify switch compatibility, as the product ships with ROG NX Snow or NX Storm mechanical switches.

How to use

Connect the keyboard via RF wireless for low-latency wireless play or plug the included USB cable for a wired connection and charging if supported. Install any provided drivers or ASUS Armoury software to customize per-key RGB lighting, assign streaming hotkeys, and configure multi-function controls. Adjust the tilt angle and attach the wrist rest to suit your ergonomic preference.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure a 96% layout fits your workflow if you often use a full numeric keypad
• Decide between PBT doubleshot and UV-coated ABS keycaps based on feel and durability
• Confirm whether RF wireless is compatible with your setup and whether you need the wired USB option

Recommendations

For best results, use RF wireless in environments with minimal wireless interference and switch to USB for stable, uninterrupted sessions such as lengthy streams or competitive play. Regularly clean keycaps and update firmware via ASUS software to maintain performance and lighting profiles.
