Videocitofono Hikvision DS-KV6133-ME1, 2 MP, 1920×1080, 129° HF, visione notturna IR 2,5 m, IP65, nero

Hikvision DS-KV6133-ME1 is a 2 MP video intercom module designed for door entry systems, delivering 1920×1080 resolution and a 129° horizontal field of view. The unit supports H.264/H.265/M-JPEG video compression, offers IR-assisted night vision up to 2.5 m, and integrates an omnidirectional microphone with multiple voice codecs (AAC, G.711a/u, G.722.1, G.726). Constructed with an aluminum-alloy housing and rated IP65, the device is intended for outdoor installation and supports PoE power supply and direct calling to the Hik-Connect app without needing an indoor station.

Advantages

The intercom module combines full HD imaging with a wide 129° horizontal view to capture approach areas and facial detail at typical door distances. IR illumination provides usable night vision up to 2.5 m, while Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) helps maintain image detail in mixed lighting. Built-in speaker and omnidirectional microphone with several supported codecs enable clear two-way audio. Weatherproof construction and an aluminum alloy casing ensure physical durability and reliable operation in outdoor environments. Standard PoE simplifies installation by supplying power over Ethernet cabling.

Suitable for

• Residential front doors and apartment entry panels
• Small offices and commercial premises entrance control
• Gated communities and concierge access points
• Retrofit projects where a compact, single-button outdoor station is required

How to use

Mount the Hikvision DS-KV6133-ME1 at the chosen exterior location with appropriate sealing and mounting hardware to maintain the IP65 rating. Connect the unit to a network switch or PoE injector to provide power and network access. Configure device settings through the associated management interface or Hik-Connect app, set call destinations or indoor station routing, and enroll any access cards in the built-in card reader module if used. Verify camera angle and focus, check IR night-vision coverage, and test two-way audio and codec compatibility with connected devices.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a PoE switch that meets the device power requirements and ensure Ethernet cabling is rated for outdoor or conduit installation where exposed. Position the intercom at a height that optimizes the 129° field of view for typical approach lines, and avoid direct bright light sources in the camera’s line of sight to preserve WDR effectiveness. Regularly inspect seals and mounting hardware to maintain the IP65 protection, and keep firmware updated to ensure compatibility with Hik-Connect and selected audio/video codecs.
