Zyxel GS2220-28HP-EU0101F switch di rete gestito L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) nero

The Zyxel GS2220-28HP-EU0101F is a managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for converged data, video and voice networks. It provides 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports with PoE support, a switching capacity of 56 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 16,000 entries. The switch supports common IEEE networking standards including 802.1Q VLAN tagging and 802.1D spanning tree, and offers flexible deployment modes with Nebula cloud management, standalone management and SNMP.

Advantages

The GS2220 Series integrates NebulaFlex Pro tri-mode management to allow cloud, local standalone or SNMP control. Intelligent PoE+ power management supplies up to 30 W per port with a 180 W total budget while optimizing consumption to power more devices. A comprehensive Layer 2 feature set including IGMP snooping, L2 multicast and MVR enables efficient handling of VoIP, video conferencing and IPTV traffic. Models are available with fan-less designs or smart fans that adjust speed based on temperature for quiet operation.

Suitable for

• Small and medium enterprise access networks
• VoIP phone systems and IP telephony
• Wireless access point and IP camera deployments requiring PoE+
• Video streaming, IPTV and video conferencing environments

How to use

Install the switch in a rack or on a flat surface, connect uplink and edge devices to the RJ-45 ports, and provide AC power. Choose the preferred management mode: enable Nebula cloud management and activate the bundled 1‑year Pro Pack for cloud features, or configure the switch in standalone mode via the web GUI or use SNMP-based management tools. Configure VLANs, QoS and PoE settings as required by your network design and attach PoE devices such as APs, cameras and VoIP phones to the appropriate ports.

Recommendations

For optimal PoE distribution, plan device placement and power allocation to avoid exceeding the 180 W budget; enable intelligent consumption mode to maximize the number of powered devices. Use Nebula cloud management for centralized monitoring and firmware updates when managing multiple switches across sites.
