In daily use

This panel is intended for internal laptop replacement, not as an external monitor. Its LED backlight offers consistent illumination and lower power consumption than older CCFL designs. The matte coating helps diffuse overhead lighting, so working near windows or under fluorescent lights is less straining. The TN technology keeps the panel affordable while providing acceptable colour and contrast for productivity tasks, web browsing, and video playback. The 30-pin eDP connector is standard on many laptops from the last decade, simplifying installation for technicians and DIY repairers. With a response time of 8 ms, fast-moving content remains reasonably clear, and the 60 Hz refresh rate is standard for most notebooks.
