3M 64858 Supporto piatto ad alte prestazioni, rosso, 125 mm, M14, flessibile

The 3M 64858 High Performance backing pad stands apart from standard flat pads through its flexible polyurethane construction, which maintains consistent pressure across the entire abrasive surface even on curved or contoured workpieces. This red 125 mm pad with M14 thread is engineered for professional sanding and grinding tasks where durability and high-speed stability are non-negotiable. Unlike rigid alternatives, the flexible design reduces edge cutting and helps abrasive discs wear evenly, extending disc life and improving finish quality.

Highlights

• Flat, flexible backing pad for angle grinders and rotary sanders
• 125 mm diameter with M14 threaded spindle for secure mounting
• High-quality red polyurethane body withstands heavy use
• Hook & loop (Velcro) attachment for fast abrasive disc changes
• Rated up to 12,500 RPM for high-performance sanding and grinding
• Optimized for use with fiber discs and abrasive discs

In daily use

Mount the 3M 64858 directly onto your angle grinder or rotary sander via the M14 thread. The flexible pad conforms to workpiece contours, providing uniform contact and reducing the risk of gouging. Its hook-and-loop face allows quick swapping of abrasive discs, minimizing downtime in production environments. The red polyurethane material resists heat and wear, maintaining its shape even under continuous high-speed operation. Whether you are removing welds, blending surfaces, or preparing metal for coating, this pad delivers consistent results.
