3M 7000042429 Nastro adesivo adatto per interni adatto per esterni 55 m trasparente

The 3M 7000042429 duct tape is a transparent, multi-purpose adhesive tape designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. Measuring 55 m in length and 50 mm in width with a thickness of 0.05 mm, this tape offers reliable adhesion to metal and many common surfaces while remaining discreet thanks to its clear appearance. Supplied as a single roll, it is suitable for repairs, mounting, bundling and temporary sealing where a low-visibility finish is preferred.

Advantages

The tape combines a thin, flexible backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides strong initial tack and consistent holding power on metal surfaces. Its transparent color minimizes visual impact when applied over surfaces or seams. The 55 m roll length reduces the need for frequent replacements, and the 50 mm width balances coverage with control for both precision and larger repair tasks.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles before application. Cut the required length of tape and press firmly along the applied area to ensure good contact between the adhesive and the substrate. For best results on metal surfaces, apply pressure along the tape length to maximize adhesion. Remove the tape by peeling it back slowly at a consistent angle to reduce residue; test on an inconspicuous area if long-term removal is anticipated.

Recommendations

Store the tape at room temperature away from direct sunlight and high humidity. For long-term outdoor exposure or critical sealing tasks, evaluate suitability before extended use and consider professional-grade tapes if higher durability or weather resistance is required.
